eumundi’s hidden valley - the perfect paradise in the heart of Eumundi,
                                                    Sunshine Coast, Australia

(formally known as "Taylor's Damn Fine B&B")

Set on four acres, this magical property has a seductive appeal to all who visit.

main delights:

chef john's food - everyone loves it. John is a master in the kitchen and creates only delicious delights with
fresh Australian produce. A two-course breakfast is included in the tariff, though a candle-lit dinner on the breezy
verandah is highly recommended. Just think - all you have to do, at the end of the night, is roll into bed.  Function
enquiries such as weddings and special celebrations are welcome.

Other popular ways to enjoy the great food @ eumundi's hidden valley include:

  • Winter Christmas in front of the open fire, where John creates a traditional Christmas feast with a few
twists such as Yorkshire puddings and Fiona makes a mean Gluwein (mulled wine).

  • Murder Mystery Nights - gather a few of your friends for a night of intrigue with a professional host helping
    your group solve the mystery.

cooking classes - Join in a programmed class or organise your own group. Classes are small (max 8), informative
and most of all a lot of fun. The best part is when you sit down to the banquette you've helped to create and enjoy
a glass of wine. Two night packages available.

the house - The grand old 1895c Queenslander sits majestically over a sculptured landscape. Completely
refurbished for modern comfort, it also captures a wonderful yester-year charm with original features such as open
fire places, pressed metal ceilings and the oldest leadlight windows in district. The bedrooms have been themed:
Aladdin's Cave, Emperor's Suite and Hinterland Retreat.

the railway carriage - A more novel accommodation offering. The 1940s carriage is refurbished with a
bohemian feel. Ideal for families and groups. See separate website: www.eumundirattler.com

the gardens - The four acres provides plenty of places to hide and read that long awaited novel. Walk along to
the North Maroochy River (our border) or just to the lily pond. You'll find interesting sculptures to view along the way.

the pool - the 12m pool is a great escape on the hotter days and long enough for lap swimming on the cooler days.

smoke free - please note that the house and surrounding gardens are a smoke-free zone
